News Nearby: Frankstown Road Improvements Begin Monday in Penn Hills

Here's a traffic update.

Work to improve Frankstown Road in Penn Hills and the City of Pittsburgh will begin on Monday, May 7, weather permitting.

Work includes milling and resurfacing, base repairs and other improvements on about one mile of Frankstown Road from Verona Road/North Robinson Boulevard in Penn Hills to Tokay Street in Pittsburgh.

Single lane alternating use traffic will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays through May 19. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and expect delays and stop conditions.
