No Major Storm Damage Reported in Plum, Oakmont & Verona

Officials are saying our area is luckier than many others.

The Plum, Oakmont and Verona area might be cold and wet Tuesday morning, but officials are saying that's fine compared to the damage the Hurricane Sandy Superstorm could have caused overnight.

"So far, we've been blessed," said Oakmont police Chief David DiSanti.

DiSanti said no major damage has been reported, but police officers are monitoring Plum Creek every half hour.
