Oakmont Water Authority Crew Works on Water Main Break in Verona

Oakmont Water Authority crews are working to repair a water main break on First Street in Verona.

First Street is blocked off from North Avenue to Ridge Avenue—the break occurred in the morning. Crews and equipment were still there at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Some residents are reporting muddy and off-color water coming from their faucets. Water authority representatives are advising residents to let cold water run for one to two hours, and to avoid drinking or cooking with the water.
