Old Leechburg Road Has Reopened

Road had to be repaired after a landslide in May.

Motorists now can drive on Old Leechburg Road in Plum again.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11 is has announced that the road reopened to traffic today.

Crews completed work today to repair a slide that occurred May 19 on Old Leechburg Road between Ross Hollow Road and Lee Ann Court. About 2,165 vehicles use this area of Old Leechburg Road on an average day.

The contractor that performed the $115,000 repair was Michael Facchiano Contracting Inc. of Pittsburgh. Work included slide and roadway repairs.
