Overnight Restrictions on Route 28 Begin Monday in Etna Interchange Area

PennDOT District 11 is announcing short-term single lane closures on Route 28 (Allegheny Valley Expressway) in the area of the Etna Interchange will occur this week. 

Restrictions will occur in both directions as needed 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights on Route 28 on the bridges over Route 8. Both directions will not be restricted simultaneously. Crews from Thornbury Inc of Sunbury, Pa., will be washing the bridges.

Motorists should expect delays and changing traffic patterns on Route 28. Please allow extra time and use caution.
