Overnight Single Lane Traffic on Southbound Route 28 Continues Tuesday

Here's a traffic update.

Traffic on southbound (inbound) Route 28 in Pittsburgh and Millvale will be reduced to a single lane overnight beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 10, weather permitting.

Crews will continue work to construct retaining walls along the southbound lanes. Restrictions will occur as needed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights through Feb. 1 between the 40th Street Bridge and East Ohio Street.

Motorists are advised to use caution and allow extra time when traveling on Route 28. Call 511 or log onto 511pa.com (includes traffic cameras on Route 28) to check traffic conditions before traveling.
