Patch Pets: Meet Julius

Julius needs a new home. Can you help?

This handsome, happy guy is Julius, an interesting combination of Jack Russel Terrier and Beagle!

Julius is one and a half years old, and was surrendered to us because his family was moving and couldn't take him along. In his previous home, he lived with a 2 year old child and another dog, and got along well with both.

Julius has been staying at the home of a volunteer recently and here's what she had to say about him: "Julius is a loving, playful, and very social dog. He gets along very well with my other dogs. He has a superb demeanor ... he is obedient, friendly and listens well. He is house-broken and doesn't beg from the table. He loves to go for rides in the car. He has been a wonderful house guest and would make a fantastic pet for some lucky person or family."

Julius has so much to offer! He would be a low-maintenance and fun family dog. To find out more about Julius, please contact his volunteer friend Ginny at ginnymerchant@gmail.com or call 412 781-6786. Julius' adoption fee is $115.

Come to the Animal Rescue League at 6620 Hamilton Ave., in East Liberty, 412-661-6452.
