PennDOT Plans Maintenance Work this Week in the Plum Area

Work will occur through Friday, March 29, weather permitting.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews will be performing patching, pipe installation and inlet repairs in the Plum area this week. Work will occur through Friday, March 29, weather permitting.

Here's a look at where crews will be working:

  • Inlet repairs will occur on Mill Street in Plum from Hulton Road to Iowa Street; and on Poketa Road in Penn Hills from Rockcliff Road to Claymont Road.
  • Patching will occur on Thompson Run Road in Monroeville from Old William Penn Highway to Frey Road.
  • Pipe installation will occur on Sardis Road in Plum from Westmoreland County to Old Leechburg Road. 

Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down and anticipate changing traffic patterns, lane closures and possible delays when traveling through the area.
