Program About 'Normal Memory Lapses' to be Held at Oakmont Library

Learn about three different types of memory lapses with this program.

Ever find yourself forgetting a person's name or remembering what word you want to say? The will host a program discussing different types of memory lapses this weekend.

"Normal Memory Lapses" by LaDonna Bates, will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 10:30 a.m.

Bates will talk about blocking, absentmindedness and trasience—three types of normal memory lapses that could affect people each day—as well as four others from "The Seven Sins of Memory: How the Mind Forgets and Remembers" by renowned Harvard psychology professor Dr. Daniel Schacter.
