PennDOT District 11 is announcing single lane traffic on inbound Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh will occur next week, Monday night through Wednesday morning, Aug. 8 to 10.
The left lane on southbound Route 28 will be closed at 9 p.m. on Monday continuously through approximately 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Only the right inbound lane will remain open.
Crews from Equitable Gas will be connecting a new gas line near the 31st Street Bridge intersection. The extended restrictions are necessary to access the valves, vent the lines, and complete the work.
