PennDOT District 11 is announcing center cable guide rail repairs on Route 28 (Allegheny Valley Expressway) will occur on Wednesday, Aug. 17, weather permitting.
Short-term left lane closures will occur in both directions in various locations on Route 28 between the RIDC (Exit 10) and Millerstown/Bakerstown Road (Exit 16) interchanges from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The prime contractor for the repairs is Penn Line Services, Inc. PennDOT advises motorists to use caution and slow down when traveling through the area.
