Route 28 to be Reduced to Single Lane Near Sharpsburg on Monday

PennDOT District 11 has announced that inspection activities on the bridge that carries southbound Route 28 over Kittanning Pike in Sharpsburg will occur on Monday, Sept. 26.

Lane closures will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday on the bridge between the Etna/Route 8 interchange (Exit 5) and the Highland Park Bridge (Route 1005 Exit 6). Crews from SAI Consulting Engineers, Inc. will conduct the inspection.
