Route 48/Route 22 Turn Lane Closures Begin Wednesday Night in Monroeville

Short-term closures of the right-turn lanes at the intersection of Route 48 (Mosside Boulevard) and Business Route 22 in Monroeville, will begin on Wednesday night, Sept. 21.

The right-turn lanes from eastbound Business Route 22 to southbound Route 48 and from northbound Route 48 to eastbound Business Route 22 will be closed as needed during the following timeframes through late October:

Monday through Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.; and 8 p.m. on Fridays continuously through 6 a.m. on Mondays.

Motorists will still be able to make right turning movements using the travel lanes.  

Crews from A. Folino Construction Company, Inc., under at contract with UPMC, will continue work on Route 48 for an entrance to the new UPMC East.
