Severe Thunderstorm Watch Continues
A severe storm already has passed through the area, but a watch continues.
A severe thunderstorm warning and flood advisory remains in effect for Allegheny County until 10 p.m.
The statement was issued by the National Weather Service.
Flooding already has been reported on Rodi Road in Penn Hills. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on small creeks and streams and ponding of water in urban areas.
