Snow Accumulations of 1 to 2 Inches Possible Today

The snow has started falling in the Plum-Oakmont area.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for southwestern Pennsylvania—including the Plum-Oakmont area.

As of 2:30 p.m., snow already had started accumulating in the area. Snow showers will occur likely before 5 p.m. A total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is possible.

Tonight, there will be a chance of snow showers before 7 p.m. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible. Tonight's low is 19 degrees.

However, don't expect the snow to stick. Tomorrow's forecast is sunny with a high near 36 degrees.
