Southbound Route 28 Short-Term Single Lane Traffic Begins Monday in Harmar

Road work to go on for about a week.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11 is announcing weekday short-term single lane traffic on southbound Route 28 in Harmar Township, will begin on Monday, weather permitting.

 Crews will be removing rocks from drop areas along southbound Route 28 between the Route 910 (Exit 11) and RIDC (Exit 10) interchanges. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in the work area as needed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through June 17.

 Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.

 The contractor performing the work is M. A. Facchiano Contracting Inc. of Pittsburgh.
