Southbound Route 28 Single Lane Closure Monday in Millvale Area

A traffic update.

PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single, right lane closure on southbound Route 28 in the area approaching the Millvale (Exit 3) interchange in Allegheny County will occur on Monday, Aug. 1, weather permitting.

Crews will be trimming trees and vegetation above the wall at the off-ramp. Restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorists should expect delays and changing traffic patterns on Route 28. Please allow extra time and use caution.

Improvements and traffic impacts on Route 28 will continue for the next few years as PennDOT works to improve this important regional corridor.
