Squirrel Hill Tunnel Restrictions Next Week

PennDOT District 11 is announcing single lane restrictions in the Squirrel Hill tunnel on the Parkway East will occur next week, Sunday through Thursday nights.

Crews will perform lighting work and cleaning operations. Single lane closures will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule: 

• Outbound (eastbound) Sunday through Thursday nights (Note: restrictions will begin at approximately 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday to minimize impacts on traffic leaving the Pirates games)

• Inbound (westbound) Monday and Tuesday nights
