Turnpike Accident Reported Near Oakmont Service Plaza
An accident was blocking the right lane of the Eastbound turnpike lanes, though it appears to be flowing normally.
An accident has been reported on the Eastbound PA Turnpike near the Oakmont service plaza.
According to the turnpike website, an accident occurred near milepost 49 at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in between the Allegheny Valley and Pittsburgh exits (near the Plum-Oakmont area). One car reportedly rolled on its roof.
The accident had been blocking the right lane, and motorists should expect delays. As of 3:10 p.m., units were moved to the shoulder lane and traffic was flowing normally.
