Two Area Panera Breads Host Jerome Bettis Meet-and Greets on Saturday

On Dec. 17, Panera Bread will be partnering with Jerome Bettis and The Bus Stops Here Foundation for a storytime & meet-and-greet at Penn Center and Waterfront Panera Bread locations.

Panera Bread is partnering with Jerome Bettis and The Bus Stops Here Foundation this holiday season to help Pittsburgh’s underprivileged youth. On Saturday, Dec. 17, join Jerome Bettis at the Penn Center Panera Café or at the Waterfront Panera Café for a free storytime and a meet-and-greet. Panera will donate $5 to The Bus Stops Here Foundation in the names of those who attend.

"The Bus Stops Here Foundation is excited to partner with Panera Bread," Bettis said in a press release. "(The day) can be enjoyed by people of all ages to get them in the spirit of the holiday, while helping Panera support The Bus Stops Here Foundation and underprivileged kids this holiday season.

Bettis will visit the Penn Center Panera Bread Café—3432 William Penn Highway in Wilkins Township—from 10 a.m. to noon, and the Waterfront Café—210 West Bridge St. in West Homestead—from 1 to 3 p.m.
