UPMC East to Hold Career Fair on Thursday

The team at UPMC East is holding a career fair on Thursday for people who want to learn about the jobs available at the new Monroeville hospital.

The job fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, 101 Mall Blvd. in Monroeville.

UPMC East, scheduled to open in Monroeville on July 2, is a state-of-the-art facility with 140 private patient rooms, 16 intensive care unit rooms, seven operating rooms, and an emergency department.

With an innovative approach to patient care and a dedication to delivering world class medicine, UPMC East will offer in-room dining, cutting edge technologies, beautification initiatives and more. The opening of UPMC East projects an additional 400 career opportunities to the Monroeville area.
