Verona Council To Hold Special Meeting Tonight
Council expects to discuss lighting at Cribbs Field with neighboring residents.
Verona officials will meet with residents of the neighborhood surrounding Cribbs Field tonight to discuss the possible installation of field lights.
Officials previously had agreed to install light poles around the field near the intersection of South Avenue and Athletic Street. Because there has been some opposition by residents, officials are giving them an outlet to voice their concerns.
The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the borough building, 736 East Railroad Ave.
