Visit Santa at Monroeville Mall & the Pittsburgh Mills

With Thanksgiving behind us, the Christmas season has officially begun—it's time to visit Santa Claus and ride the holiday train at local malls.

Santa Claus will be at JCPenney Court at the Monroeville Mall through Christmas Eve. He will be available for photos from Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (breaks from 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.); Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. (break from 3 to 3:30 p.m.); and Christmas Eve from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (break from 1 to 2 p.m.).

Santa also will visit with children at the Pittsburgh Mills Mall. Hours are Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (breaks from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.); Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (breaks from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.); Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in November and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in December (breaks from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.). Pet night will be on Dec. 2 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Visitors also can take a ride on the holiday train from10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
