Volunteer Opportunities Available in Plum-Oakmont

If you're looking to volunteer in Plum or Oakmont, there are some opportunities available. Officials of both boroughs are looking to fill vacancies on boards and organizations.

Plum

Officials are looking for residents to fill vacancies on the following boards:

• Three on the library board
• One on the planning commission
• One on the zoning hearing
• One on the vacancy board

Anyone interested in applying for the boards should send a detailed resume and cover letter expressing your interest and qualifications for the position to the borough manager at 4575 New Texas Road, Plum, PA 15239.

Oakmont

The Borough of Oakmont is seeking a qualified volunteer to serve as a member of the Oakmont Civil Service Commission. Interested residents should fill out the form linked here. A qualified volunteer to serve as a member of the Property Maintenance Board of Appeals and the Uniform Construction Board of Appeals also is needed. Interested residents should fill out the form linked here.
