Favorites Friday: Library

Save money using the library for books, movies and more!

by Erin at SlimSavers.com

My teenage self would gasp at this! (and flip me the bird. She was naughty!) I loooooove the library!

Want a book? Library! Want a magazine? Library! Want a CD? Li-bra-ry! Want a movie? LIBRARY! Want to pay a fine? Library! Oh, wait, that may be just me.

Anywho. I feel like anything I could ever want is at the library. Well, maybe not everything, but anything I’d want to read, research or watch. They go it for freeeee (as long as you return the stuff on time, ERIN! I think I paid for my library’s new children’s wing.)

Most of the books on my 2013 reading list are available at the library thanks to my library system’s inter-library exchange. I can look up a book and request it from another town’s library and get it sent to mine within days! We’re going away and my son wanted some DVDs to watch in the car sooooo we went to the library! Wonderful selection of children’s movies and TV show DVDs. Nice! I felt I needed to watch all the episodes of Mad Men for no good reason (Jon Hamm), and I found those at the library, too! I encourage you to think of the library first when you find yourself in need of a book, magazine, CD, DVD, etc.

Erin and Joline, both health and wellness junkies, spent many years pinning down the truths about eating healthy and inexpensively. Both feel the it’s-too-expensive-to-eat-healthy excuse is untrue and infuriating.
