LONGWOOD AT OAKMONT HOSTS FURRY FRIENDS FESTIVAL TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE SHELTER & WILDLIFE CENTER

On September 27, 2013, Longwood at Oakmont, a pet-friendly senior living community operated by Presbyterian SeniorCare in Plum, Pa., is hosting a Furry Friends Festival to raise funds for the Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center and help stop the euthanization of our beloved furry friends.

The event will feature a pet training presentation by Mr. O’s Obedience Training, an “Ask the Vet” Q&A session with Dr. Sarah Lavery, Puparazzi Pet Photos by Lisa West Photography and mini pet massages by Critter Sitters.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to spoil their pets with treats from The Pet Bakery of Oakmont, receive grooming information and tips from Tail Wags N’At and ensure their pet’s safety with microchipping services provided by the Animal Rescue League. Additional vendors include Chums Canine Service, Good Paws Good Cause, Pittsburgh Pet Connections Magazine and more.

This event is free and open to the public. Please visit www.animalrescue.org/donation-wishlist for  the Animal Rescue League’s Wishlist Donation Collection List. For more information, please visit www.longwoodatoakmont.com/info or call 877-214-8410.
