Premiere of the Short Film "Perspective" by local filmmaker

Perspective is a short film about two normal guys in a coffee shop. In a small college town, Greg and Parker make their acquaintance over coffee and their respective tasks in the local coffee shop. As time progresses and their relationship develops, they are forced to change their perspectives of themselves and each other.

The film is produced by Man and Camera, a film-making duo (Scott Almendinger and Michael Rodriguez) based in Pittsburgh. Both alumni of IUP, they utilized a cast and crew of almost entirely IUP students and fellow alumni. Lead roles are performed by Sam Iacono, Michael Rodriguez, and Ken Singleton. This piece is the film debut of director Morgan Chase, a recent national award-winning director, on the theatrical college circuit. Completely original music and soundtrack is provided by Josh Wilson.

With a distinct lack of explosions, computer animation, and recent Hollywood cliches, Perspective is an intimate look at a series of personal interactions, fueled by the cinematography of Scott Almendinger. More importantly, it's a look at our own perspective and assumptions.
