Riverview Distinguished Alumni Induction Program

The Riverview School District
is proud to announce its Distinguished Alumni Class of 2013!

Each year for the past 4
years, the District has honored accomplished alumni by inducting them into its
Distinguished Alumni Program. This year, eight alumni will be inducted during a
ceremony that will be held on January 11th, at 6:00 PM, at the 10th
Street Elementary School in Oakmont. The inductees include the 20th
American woman to summit Mt. Everest, a leading ceramics artist, a retired FBI
agent who is now a lawyer, two award-winning teachers and leaders in business
in the areas of taxation, actuarial sciences and technology innovation.

The ceremony is planned and
orchestrated by the students of Riverview’s Jr/Sr High School, under the
guidance of teachers, Barbara Stuart and Patsy Kvortek. All of the food is
prepared and served by the students as well as having the invitations,
decorations and individual displays of each inductee created by the students.

The highlight of the evening

each inductee used their time at Riverview to set the stage for their future
successes.

Please visit the District’s
website at www.rsd.k12.pa.us under the Alumni
tab to view pictures and biographies of past inductees. Future inductees can be
nominated by completing the Distinguished Alumni Nomination Form available
under that tab also.
