I have written many times about some of the cool people I have had the pleasure to meet on the campaign trail. This is my second campaign, so I have knocked on thousands of doors and met thousands of people asking them for their vote. I think asking someone for their vote is a very humbling experience. Because of our unique history and our system of government, a persons vote is truly sacred.
Yesterday, I met a school teacher. As we spoke, I could hear and feel the passion she had for teaching and for the children in her classroom. I have had the same experience speaking with several of my son's teachers. It is really special to listen to someone who is passionate about something that they believe. The next time you meet someone truely passionate about something, stop and listen. Feel their passion.
