I want warm food. Belly-lining food. Real food.
But, I'm cold.
Out comes the slow cooker.
I have some great slow cooker recipes. None of which take "cream of something-or-another" soup. But, I'll admit. My recipe pickins are slim.
My favorite slow cookin' guru is Stephanie O'Dea at A Year of Slow Cooking.
I'm always on the hunt for more, and I usually try to find them online rather than in an actual slow cooking recipe book, because more times than not I only find a handful of recipes that I will make from those books.
So, Stephanie is my "go-to".
I'd love some help.
If you use a slow cooker, where do you find healthy recipes that don't necessarily include dumping in a glob of canned creamed soup??? You already know we are somewhat purists here, and canned soup ain't gonna cut it for our slow cooked meals. Any websites I need to peruse?
