Weigh In Wednesday: Healthy Slow Cooking

Slow cooking. Where do you find healthy and hearty recipes to keep your belly warm and satisfied during winter?

Out comes the slow cooker.

I have some great slow cooker recipes. None of which take "cream of something-or-another" soup. But, I'll admit. My recipe pickins are slim.

My favorite slow cookin' guru is Stephanie O'Dea at A Year of Slow Cooking.

I'm always on the hunt for more, and I usually try to find them online rather than in an actual slow cooking recipe book, because more times than not I only find a handful of recipes that I will make from those books.

So, Stephanie is my "go-to".

I'd love some help.

If you use a slow cooker, where do you find healthy recipes that don't necessarily include dumping in a glob of canned creamed soup??? You already know we are somewhat purists here, and canned soup ain't gonna cut it for our slow cooked meals. Any websites I need to peruse?
