Missing in Action, or My Laptop Died!

What happens when I have become completely dependent on a computer that dies!

I have not blogged in quite a while, as my laptop died. This is a frustration to me two-fold, as I actually have two blogs! I do have an iPhone, which means I am not completely out of the loop. However, it is no fun to write more than a text on my touch screen phone!

Today I am borrowing my daughter's iPad. She is with her dad this weekend, so I get full access. This, too, could have been frustrating with the smaller touchscreen on the iPad. However, I was smart enough to order the full-sized keyboard when ordering her iPad—really with myself in mind.

But the other result of having no laptop has been a more positive one. I am online less, and exercising more. I am knitting more. And finally, I am interracting with my husband and children more. I'd have to say that these are all very positive things. Yes, I am looking into getting a new laptop. Hopefully my tax refund will be enough to fund one. If not, though, I think I'll live! I will just have to borrow this ipad a bit more often so that my blogs don't completely wither away! Have you been faced with the loss of some beloved electronic device? How have you coped? And how has it affected your daily routine?
