The "2012 Oakmont Bocce League" ended their second season with a "Picnic at Riverside Park" in Oakmont on sunny, Sunday, September 9, 2012.
Ninety-seven league members, which included 12 teams of six to 10 players, attended. With friends and family included, there were over 125 enjoying what turned out to be a pleasant day.
Prizes were awarded for the Bocce League Season. The winning-est team was “Smoke on the Water” and the losing-est team was the “Reservoir Dogs.” A "Mini-Bocce-Tournament" was played during the afternoon. The first place winners were Frank Bogden and Phil Joyce......Runners-up were Martha Kinter and Dom Lio. And Everyone received a certificate.
