Following her first place award at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science Region VII event in February, Angela Santucci earned a first place at the state meeting of PJAS held this May at Penn State.
While researching her topic, Osculation and Sound Baffles, Angela had the opportunity to visit her Uncle John Roberts' lab in Emerson Electric, located in Sidney, Ohio. John and his wife Lisa Santucci Roberts are both graduates from Riverview High School. Angela was able to pick up a lot of hands-on experience and look/see information about her project, while touring and investigating.
Angela began entering PJAS while a seventh grader at St. Joseph School in Verona. Each year she earned a first place at Region VII and then again at States in Penn State. She is now a sophomore at Oakland Catholic.
Angela is the daughter of Frank and Donna Santucci and the granddaughter of Frank and Molly Santucci.
