Kudos to First Concert in the Park series

The crowd enjoyed every piece that Riverview Jazz Band played and even gave them a standing O at the end of the performance. There were solos and duets, familiar, and unfamiliar pieces, and even a little strutting about just like in New Orleans.

Band parents swelled the crowd, but there were plenty of folks who just like fine music and came to hear the band. The band's school concert will be held in Tenth Street School on Thursday, May 31. You're encouraged to come to hear and see them.
