Oakmont Plays Bocce

This is Oakmont's second year of playing on their new bocce courts near the borough building on Fifth Street. There are two lanes, enough for four teams to play three games each on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.

The names of the teams are as colorful as the players: DeBocce-ers, Rolling Stones, Bella Bells, Smoke 'n Guns, Smoke 'n Water, The Boccelisms, Balls of Fire, Rocky Rollers, Bocce Bandits,and Reservoir Dogs. Some teams have initiated wearing team logo shirts; others just come with visors to protect from the setting sun.
