Recycling

Spring Cleaning, papers from taxes, oil from an oil change ---what to do with all these things you aren't suppose to put in the garbage, but no one told you what to do with them. Here's the answer.

Saturday, April 27 Verona will be celebrating Earth Day and Oakmont will be sponsoring Recycle Rama.  This notice is just to address the recycling efforts in our Twin Boros.

Some of the following items will be collected in the Recycle Rama effort: electronics, cell phones, FREON FREE appliances, plastic grocery bags (unless you save them for the dog walker canisters scattered throughout Verona), mobile shredding site (with taxes supposedly done by April 27 you may want to shred some of those papers you thought would be necessary, but weren't), towels, blankets, eye glasses, gently used books, paper, phone books (now they are something hard to get rid of), and magazines, women’s business attire and shoes, prom dresses and shoes (now is the time some young lady might really appreciate a lightly worn dress), used motor oil (that’s another item that is hard to get rid of – especially if you change your own oil), car and truck batteries, alkaline batteries (change your battery operated candles now), old blue jeans, and greeting cards.

Recycle now so when you do “redd up” the recycling job will already have been done.
