The Week Ahead
The Chamber of Commerce, the Historical Society, and the Flower and Garden Club are supporting, learning, and digging and planting.
Verona Chamber of Commerce will meet Tuesday, May 15
Verona Historical Society is meeting Thursday, May 17 at 7 pm in the Municipal building. A guest speaker will be present “History of Plum Boro.” There will also be a discussion about two summer field trips: one to Old Economy Village and another to be announced.

Verona Flower and Garden Club have plantings scheduled at the viaduct and gazebo on Tuesday and Saturday, May 15 at 11 am and 19 at 10 am. If you are interested in joining or helping out with the plantings, contact Mariann at 412-828-3965. The diggers, planters, weeders, and arrangers always are interested in your special talents. They are hoping that all the planters will be ready for the parade too.
