Warm woolen mittens, long, wrap-round scarves, earmuffs galore, and snowflakes flurrying 'bout. It was that kind of evening: colder and darker by the minute. Chilled marchers and riders all had hopes of hot chocolate and cookies waiting for them at the end of the parade route in Oakmont.
But the parade – WOW! The drum corps of Riverview Band struck up a lively beat as they stepped-off in Verona, just behind the “pace cars. The pictures below will give you a hint of the talented float builders we have in the Twin Boros.
Unfortunately, my camera card ran out of memory and I didn’t get pictures of the end of the parade.
