Western Pennsylvania Center for the Arts, Verona Presents Futhark Guitars

If the name Futhark Guitars sounds familiar, then you must be a musician or up on your family of guitars.

First a little background, Ralph and Bonnie Myers-Toward is the couple that bought the Spiral Staircase on East Railroad Avenue and are busy updating and remodeling it as a music store, the Western Pennsylvania Center for the Arts in Verona, but this hasn't stopped them from starting their business and getting instrument rentals to kids in the area and getting people interested in selling their instruments in their store.  (more about that in another blog).

Ralph and Bonnie didn’t want their store to be like any other.  They want to sell quality instruments that you can't get just anywhere else.  So, they would like to invite you to their first collaboration.....Futhark Guitar.  Futhark Guitars (the name is based on ancient Norwegian runes) are handmade in Norway near Oslo.  These electric guitars are designed to look like the Viking hammer and helmet.
