Boyce Park YES Endurance Trail Series Results

Here are results from last Saturday's trail series at Boyce Park in Plum.

By Tim Holmstrom, Yes Endurance Sports

High spirits were not even slightly dampened by early morning rain showers in the first event of the YES Endurance Trail Series last Saturday.

The  moist, single track, terrain in the park was challenging and fun to negotiate for all the enthusiastic participants. Trail runners chose from 5k, 10k or 10-mile routes. The wet climb, up the ski slopes and Indian Hill, made for a very challenging morning for the 10 mile racers.

All 10-mile finishers were awarded the coveted YES Series medal; 5k and 10k finishers were awarded Re-glo, See-Me belts at the finish.

Participant Matt Graver stated, “Great course! Seriously, it was a very well-designed, challenging course. The cooler temps and rain added to the fun. See you next year.”
