Obituary - Charlene J.Manganaro

Charlene J.Manganaro passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Charlene J.Manganaro, of Wilkins Twp., passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the age of 63, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh 

Charlene was born on July 23, 1949 in Pittsburgh.  She was a daughter of the late George and Gladys (Quinn) McDade; beloved wife of the late Peter Manganaro; loving mother of Harry (Traci) Brothers of Natrona Heights, Donna (Christopher Pollifrone) Brothers of Springdale, Kathy (Robert) Alexander of Wilkins Twp., Linda (the late Gene) Churchel of Somerset, Ray (Carole) Manganaro of Plum, and LuAnn (Matthew) Ferkatch of Plum.  She is also survived by her siblings and her many nieces and nephews. Charlene was the grandmother of Brady, Katie, Brandon, Courtney, Johnny, Shawn, Heather, Dustin, Brandon, Ryan, Angel, Matthew, Jeremy, and her grandpuppies: Skylar and Bella; and great-grandmother of nine.

Charlene was a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon.  She loved caring for her family, cooking, and “brooming.”

Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013, 10:30 am with the Rev. Cynthia Reyes Filmore officiating in Beulah Presbyterian Church, 2500 McCrady Road, Pittsburgh, 15235.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Interment will follow next to her beloved husband Peter in Restland Memorial Park, Monroeville. 

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, 15205 or Beulah Presbyterian Church.
