Obituary - Dan Brown

Dan Brown passed away on March 21, 2013, at the age of 22, following a brief and courageous battle with cancer and leukemia.

Dan is the precious son of William and Noreen; dear brother and friend to Bill and Lauren; loving grandson of Ruth B. Brown. He is also survived by many dear and loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dan is preceded in death by his grandparents James Thomas Binder, Patricia Cunningham Binder and Neil H. Brown.

Friends will be received Sunday March 24, 2013 from 1-4 pm in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139, where a blessing service will be held at 4pm officiated by Father Kevin Dominik.

The family wishes to acknowledge and is eternally grateful for the loving, compassionate care provided by so many at Forbes Regional Hospital, especially Dr. David Mayernik, the angels on 6 North Oncology Unit, Intensive Care Unit, West Penn Allegheny Oncology Network, and West Penn Allegheny Home Care.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Forbes Health Foundation/Oncology Fund in memory of Dan Brown at Forbes Health Foundation, 2570 Haymaker Road, Monroeville, Pa, 15146.
