Etta Knell, of Oakmont, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Harmar Village, at the age of 88.
Etta was born in Sharpsburg on July 10, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Merle and Ruth (Kitzki) Thomspon; beloved wife of the late Charles Henry “Chick” Knell, Sr.; mother of Charles H. Knell of Falls Church, VA and Gary L. Knell of McKeesport; sister of Jean Springer of Oakmont and Melvin Thompson of Ashtabula, OH.
Friends and relatives will be received in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 10 am until time for the 11 am Funeral Service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Oakmont.
