Obituary - Harry W. "Buddy" Innes

Harry W. "Buddy" Innes, of Oakmont, died Saturday evening, March 9, 2013, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Aspinwall, at the age of 65.

Buddy was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Verona, to the late Harry and Gertrude (Stoner) Innes.  

Buddy was a retired driver for On Time Delivery, a member of American Legion Post 600, Oakmont, and a Vietnam Army veteran.  He was also a member of Verona Moose Lodge No. 250.

Buddy was the beloved husband of the late Glorida (Galardy) Innes; the dear father of Sherri (Mark) Paolillo, of Lower Burrell, and Kelly (Jeff) Cook, of Natrona Heights; the brother of Grace (Innes) Anderson, of Tarentum, and the late Albert Innes; and the proud grandfather of Caitlyn, Nicole, Christopher, Lucas, Jared, Braden and Anthony.  

Buddy will be remembered for his love of life, his generous heart and always finding the good in people and never questioned they were anything else.

Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 pm Monday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday in BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNTIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  A blessing service will be held at 10 am Wednesday in the funeral home with Father Charles Soto officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, next to his wife Gloria, with military honors.
