Rita K. Spena (Kellner)
Rita K. Spena (Kellner), of Oakmont passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the age of 90.
Rita was the beloved wife of the late John E. Kellner and Anthony Spena; loving mother of Dorothy (Larry) Schrott, Thomas Kellner, Jeffrey (Linda) Kellner, Susan Evans, and John F. (Jamie) Kellner; grandmother of eight, and GeGe of 11; sister of Carol Szpessy.

Rita was a member of Oakmont United Methodist Church.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 2-8 pm in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013, 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.

Helen Rose Pfeil
On Saturday, April 6, 2013 Helen Rose Pfeil, of GA, formerly of Verona, passed away at the age of 92.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Robert William Pfeil; loving mother of Barbara (Frank) Renosky of GA and Richard (Marlea) Pfeil of MI. She was preceded in death by her son Robert William Pfeil, Jr of IL. In addition to her two children she is survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and preceded in death by her six siblings.
Helen worked as a Nurses Aid at Presbyterian Home in Oakmont for 11 years. She lived at Munroe Towers for 14 yrs. She was a member of American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, St. Joseph Christian Mothers and sang in the choir. She enjoyed bowling, flowers and bird watching.
Friends will be received Saturday, May 4th from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm in St. Irenaeus Church, Oakmont following visitation. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Verona.
