James A. “Jim” Pick Sr.

James A. “Jim” Pick, Sr., of Penn Hills passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 in his residence, at the age of 75. 

Jim was the beloved husband for 50 years of Carol L. (Hessler) Pick; loving father of Mary Jo Rulnick, Bartholomew O’Donnell, James Albert (Debra) Pick, Jr., and Dennis Pick; grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of six; brother of the late John A. Pick.

Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 2-4  & 6-8 pm in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 10 am in the funeral home.

Raymond W. “Ray” Kness

Raymond W. “Ray” Kness, of Monroeville (formerly of Penn Hills and Orlando, Florida), passed away, at the age of 78, on Monday, April 8, 2013, in his residence, surrounded by his family. 

Ray was the son of the late Burrell and Rose Kness; beloved husband for 60 years of Nancy (Brennan) Kness; loving father of Cynthia Kness and Scott Kness; and brother of the late Dolores Walker.

Ray was a member of Murrysville Alliance Church, enjoyed singing, music, and playing the trumpet. 

Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm in the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in Murrysville Alliance Church, 4130 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, 15668.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Murrysville Alliance Church.
