Jean (Smith) Lee

Jean (Smith) Leeof Oakmont, died on Monday, November 5, 2012, at the age of 94. 

Jean was the wife of the late James Greenwood Lee; mother of Randall James (Marie) Lee of Orlando, Robert Greenwood, (Ann) Lee of Florida, and Richard Smith Lee of Oakmont; grandmother of Mark and Chad Lee, Whitney (Paul) Falzone and Bridgin Lee; great-grandmother of Morgan.

Jean was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh, where she was a member of Kappa, Alpha Theta.  Jean spent her life raising her family in Oakmont, was a member of the Oakmont Country Club and later in life moved to Longwood at Oakmont. 

Services and interment will be private for the family only. Arrangements entrusted to BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.

Rita L. Camerota

Rita L. Camerota of Oakmont (formerly of East Liberty), died Saturday morning, November 10, 2012, at the age of 87. 

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Mariano "Buddo" Camerota; dear devoted mother to Peggy (Mike) Monfredi and Paul (Sylvia) Camerota; dear sister of Eileen (late Peter) Orteleva, Diane Folgarelli, Mary Lou (Pete) Botta, Jeannie (Vince) Carrichio, Joseph (Lois) Folgarelli, Bunny (John) Chase, and the late Margie (late Mike) Bobos; beloved grandmother of Michele Monfredi, Sara (Rick) McMahon, Melissa (Brady) McMahon and Mario Camerota; great- grandmother of Michael Monfredi and RJ McMahon; Rita is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and especially her longtime friend, Antionette Pedron. 

Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, Sunday, Nov 11, 2012, from 2-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 11:30 am in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church Oakmont.

The Family suggests memorials to St. Irenaeus Landscaping Fund 387 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA.

John Dolgas

John Dolgas, of Pittsburgh (formerly of Windber, PA), died Saturday, November 10, 2012 in Canterbury Place Nursing Home in Pittsburgh, at the age of 85.

John was born in Johnstown, PA, son of the late Vasil and Bertha Dolgas. He is survived in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary; his two sons: John M. Dolgas of Pittsburgh, PA and Thomas J. Dolgas; his wife, Laura and their children, Emily and Elena of Greensburg, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Helen Drye (Dolgas) of Johnstown, PA and brother, Charles Dolgas, also of Johnstown, Pa.

John was retired from Bethlehem Steel, a member of the Knights of Columbus in Windber, PA, dedicated service to Boy Scout Troop 110 of Windber, PA where he was awarded the St. George Emblem, The Order of Merit Award and the Silver Beaver Award in recognition to his commitment.  He also served in the US Navy.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, INC., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139 (412-828-6565).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont, PA. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA, where a veteran service will be held.

Carmella Carbone

Carmella Carbone, formerly of Sharpsburg, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the age of 98. 

Carmella was the wife of the late Peter W, beloved mother of Giovanna Mitchell (Denis) and Mary Jo Metikosh (Bud); grandmother of Chip Mitchell (Jamie), Joe DeSimone (Karen) and Michael DeSimone, great grandmother of Jacob, Nicholas, Camryn and McKenna; also survived by many nieces and nephews; sister of the late Michael, Frank, James, Dennis, Anthony, Gerard Marcoly, Lucy Enie and Angeline Thens. 

Friends will be received Sunday from 12 noon to 9 pm in WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, 820 Main Street, Sharpsburg.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 am in St. Juan Diego Parish, in Madonna of Jerusalem.
