Obituary - Lois Florence Ferla

Lois Florence Ferla, of Penn Hills, died peacefully on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the age of 82.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Ferla; loving mother of Mary Beth (Dave) Smith of Oakmont; grandmother of Erin, Ricky and Anna Smith. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard J. Ferla. She was the daughter of the late Oliver J. and Clara Henninger; sister of Clara Grotth, Grace Sharer, Mel (Josephine) Henninger, Paul (Marge) Henninger, the late Oliver “Bud” Henninger and the late Janice Kapusta. Lois was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, 4-6 pm and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in CHARLES W. TRENZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11110 Frankstown Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, (412) 242-5100. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew Church in Penn Hills at 10 am. Monday, November 12.
