Patricia Jean Eisenhardt

On Monday, December 3, 2012 Patricia Jean Eisenhardt passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. 

Pat was the beloved mother of Mary Kay (Marty) Pronio, Megan Farrell and Chris (Kate) Farrell, and loving companion of Vaughn Fry; loving grandmother of Joseph, Eugene, and Susan Pronio and Conor and Cameron Farrell.  She is also survived by two sisters and one brother.

Pat, also known as “Bubbles,” enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, long conversations with friends and family, golfing and spending time outdoors.  Pat was blessed with loving neighbors, friends and co-workers at St. Margaret’s Hospital where she serviced the community for 30 devoted years. 

As per Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 10:00 o’clock am in St. Irenaeus Church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Irenaeus School, 637 4th Street Oakmont, PA 15139.

Lois Jean Stough (Bracco)

Lois Jean Stough (Bracco), formerly of Penn Hills, died Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the age of 82, in her daughter's home in Rittman, Ohio.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Kent Stough; dear mother of Becky (David) VanKleeck, Kent (Claudia) Stough Jr., Fred (Brenda), Rick (Maria), Jim (Elaine), Kurt (Theresa) and Warren (Patty) Stough; sister of Donald Bracco; 16 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.

Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont, on Monday, from 2-4 and 6-9.pm.  Services will be held Tuesday at10:30 am in Trinity Lutheran Church, Verona.

The Family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 Allegheny River Blvd., Verona, PA 15147.

Norman A. Whale

Norman A. Whale, of Springdale, died Friday, November 30, 2012, at the age of 90, with his family at his side.

Norm retired from Westinghouse as a nuclear engineer.  He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Springdale, where he served as a lector.  He served in the Army during the Korean War, and was a member of Springdale Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He was also a former member of Springdale/Cheswick Lions Club and former Cubmaster of Pack 153.  Norm was an accomplished oil painter, winning one best of show at Laube Hall, Freeport.  He enjoyed his grandchildren, camping and time spent outdoors.  

Norman was born February 25, 1932, in Pittsburgh, to the late Albert and Alberta Lutton Whale.  He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Pusateri) Whale of 54 years; dear father of Albert (Lisa) Whale, of Ross Township, Laura (Dr. Ronald) Travitz, of Salisbury, Md., Mary (Scott) Hillman, of Jeannette, and Paul Whale, of Springdale; grandfather of Dana, Brandon, Spencer, Adam, Jessica, Timothy, Zachary, Kelly, Evan, Nolan and Alexa; and great-grandfather of Jayce.

Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm Sunday in BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION and ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont.  Services will be held at 10:30 am Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Tricia A. Schneck officiating. Springdale Veterans will conduct services at 7:30 pm Sunday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow with military honors in Springdale Cemetery.
