The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has identified the body of a man found on a hillside Saturday near Plum Creek in Oakmont.
Ronald Krenke, 53, of Oakmont, was a disabled Army Veteran who was last seen the morning of Aug. 30, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
Autopsy results for Krenke are pending toxicology tests, the PG reported. Oakmont police chief David DiSanti Sr. told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that foul play is not suspected, and that Krenke had a history of congestive heart failure and stroke.
According to court records, Krenke was sheduled for a pre-trial conference Aug. 30 on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, giving a false report and related driving offenses from an incident in February. He was scheduled to go on trial in December, the PG reported.
